Hi, All Boomerang Fans, My name is Bharat Rathaur and my step into the customer sharing movement started at Rising in Orlando back in 2019 when I randomly ran into David The Sharing Guy, the same guy who taught Workday to me when I started over 10 years ago at a small Workday boutique consulting company named DayNine.
I like boomerangs for their simplicity in nature. I’ve worked on over one hundred Workday integrations during the past decade, from Workday into another system, or from some other system into Workday. It’s often a challenge to understand the other system. With boomerang integrations, the other system is Workday itself! That cuts the number of involved systems in half.
I also like boomerangs for the time and money they save Workday customers. The total number of tasks, the design, decision making, testing, all of this is cut in half compared to non-boomerang integrations.
Are you hearing about boomerangs for the first time? They have always been there in plain view for all to see and utilize. But they are like any unadvertised viewpoint of a national park, unexplored. So, it’s very important to view them as with a solid solution to resolve a business problem within itself.
